H. Robertson , after spending a life at sea , settled down at Cardiff 12 years ago .sx He was suddenly stricken with paralysis .sx He had no friends , and all he knew of his relatives was that he had a brother in China .sx Unable to get about , Robertson decided to become a paying patient of Cardiff City Lodge , the poorhouse of the Principality .sx He remained there for seven years , satisfied with the creature comforts provided for Cardiff's poor .sx Then suddenly in 1926 he was transferred into undreamt-of luxury and wealth , for a brother in China died and left him a fortune amounting between 250,000 and 300,000 .sx This fortune was amassed by the brother , who had become a commercial magnate of the East .sx MAGNIFICENT HOME .sx Mr. Robertson left the City Lodge and had a magnificent home built for himself at Cardiff , with cars made just to suit his state of health as a cripple .sx Specialists received huge fees to try to recover his health , but alas , with all he remained a cripple and an invalid , and died to-day at Cardiff .sx SIR J.
